“In all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28
God wants us to be successful. Not only does He plant motivation in our hearts but He also gives us an intrinsic desire to contribute, add value, and connect with others in some meaningful endeavor. We are a puzzle piece in God's big puzzle plan. All linked together to contribute to His Kingdom. How amazing is that?
Finding meaning and purpose in our labour is the key to both personal fulfillment and professional success. Our purpose drives everything. We need to understand what it means to serve others through our business.
With My company I strive to:
We need to handle each person we come into contact with, with dignity, worth and perceive their potential. God taught his disciples that no leader is greater than the people he leads, and that even the leader is not more worthy than doing the humblest of tasks.
I have learned that everyone that I work with is important and contributes to the success of my business. God is leading me. The knowledge that I live my life with God’s help provides the confidence, conviction and focus that will move me forward, regardless of circumstances.
God created each person for a specific reason, task and purpose. He equipped each one of us with the perfect combination of talents, skills and abilities required to find fulfillment in our lives. I believe and trust that serving a higher purpose will lead to business success. We must however, also know and understand that it is God’s timing. He takes a while to get us where we should be, as it takes us a while to build the character we need to become successful.
We also need to understand what success means. It means having your priorities right and being able to make a difference in other people’s lives. My priorities are God, family and making a difference in the community.
Successful people are those who can deal with challenges successfully and with dignity. I have learned that things happen for a reason. I came to understand that it is God’s plan not mine. God has given me a platform to bring together businesses, social organizations and charitable organizations to address all the needs of the community. God’s people need us.
We can make a big difference in their lives right now. And that alone makes our lives significant. To make sure we are in His purpose make sure you connect with the environment that brings out the best in you. We need to get out of our comfort zone. We must take a leap of faith to pursue our passion. It is hard to find the right balance between earning a living and serving a purpose. We need to remember that reason will only take us thus far, but the spark of faith has to bridge the gap. We must keep in mind ;-
Romans 8:31 “If God is for us, who can be against us?”
Jeremiah 29:11 : “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not harm you. Plans to give you hope and a future.”
It takes courage to listen to God with a totally honest heart. It takes even greater courage to follow through on what we hear.
The only time we have is today. We should live each day as our signature day.
Most of our lives are shaped by the small decisions we make every day. It doesn’t matter whether the decision we’re faced with is big or small. What’s important is to understand that every decision helps shape our character and destiny.
Commit to the Lord in whatever you do and your plans will succeed.
You need to be willing to stick to God’s plan, even when you don’t understand. Something might look good for you now but God knows what is coming.
God often chooses to work through those people He can depend on. Those who are faithful with a little are given more. But we also enjoy the benefits of following His Plan. In the process of fulfilling God’s will, we grow stronger in character and more capable in tough situations.
He tests us through challenging circumstances to see if we have the character and capability to follow Him. Though difficult for us, this is an extremely important time in which God is shaping us into unity with His purpose.
It is no coincidence that this powerful combination of character and capability grooms us for success in the business world. It is only in the process of boldly walking through our predicaments that solutions are found.
The process of walking through our predicaments not only provides an eventual solution, it also defines our character. When we continue to seek God’s wisdom, every step we take grows our character and brings us closer to the positive solution he has created. It is important to stay in constant communion with God.
“Be joyful always; pray continuously; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus” 1 Thessalonians 5:16
Patience and perseverance is a necessary instrument for growth. Be careful not to get ahead of God instead of being led by Him.
We need to be servant leaders. Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be slave to all. For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve. Mark 10:43-45.
We also learn of servant leadership through Jesus washing his disciples’ feet. Honest, caring spirit, courage, integrity, trustworthy, hospitality, and personal hope creates hope in others.
Biblical values and principles such as respect, care, trust, fairness and teamwork is what is needed to be successful in all you do.
Leadership attributes of Jesus: being a visionary, being a good communicator, having good listening skills and motivating people.
When you integrate God’s principles along with your unique talents, skills and character, you create a powerful partnership for being successful in the world without becoming of the world.
As a result, your challenges and predicaments strengthen you to become the successful and significant leader God intended you to be.
As a chosen one, walking with God while facing and overcoming life’s difficulties –is what makes you absolutely invaluable to a person. You need to understand that difficulty is a part of life and that God communicates to us through our circumstances especially the difficult ones.
God has a plan for you.
A plan specifically designed for your success.
He’s called you by name to fulfill His plan for your life.
He’s provided a plan for you to succeed His way, not your way; and on His timing, not yours.
In essence our problems are not stumbling blocks, but stepping stones for personal growth and success.
In the same way, the decisions we make in the midst of our predicaments define us. They shape our character, and they determine our destiny. They are in short our journey.
As we struggle, we can choose to focus not on the pain of our present situation but on the value of the moment.
The problems we each face are our own opportunities.
Our present situation is a part of a much larger process. This is what leads us, step by step, to the place God wants us to be.
With Love
Liesel
